Another signing on the books!

A big thanks goes out to all the people you came out to my signing and to Krav’n Comics for being a fantastic host. I meet a ton of really great people and got to talk comics all day long.  I especially enjoyed talking to a young man who was interested in both writing and drawling his own comics.  He asked a ton of really great question.  There is nothing I like more than imparting what little I’ve learning about making comics over the last few year to people interested in becoming creators themselves.  I love how accessible comics is and how it really is the only art form where it not only accepted to go out and make your own thing, it encouraged.  By talking about my own experience and process, it helps crystallize what I’ve done over the years.  I think I end up learning more than the person asking about making comics.

If you didn’t get to come out to my signing today, I would encourage you to check out Krav’n Comics when you have a chance.  It a great family run store with a really welcoming and friendly atmosphere.  Plus that have a ton of cool Funco Pops and other cool toys in addition to comics.  It the kind of store we need more of in this industry.  I can’t wait to check out their comic book bingo night.

Speaking of awesome stores, I have my next signing lined up at another awesome store.  On Saturday December 5th I’ll be at Johnny Destructo’s Hero Complex in beautiful Manayunk, PA from 1pm to 6pm.  If you live in Philly and coming all the way out to the ‘burbs was too far, now your chance to have me sign a book and to visit a really cool shop right on main street.  I’ve known JD for years and he is amazingly knowledgeable. At Johnny Destructo’s Hero Complex he had curated a fantastic selection of graphic novels and trade paperbacks.  You could randomly pick up any book at the store and come away with a great read.  I hope to see you there!

One Down Two to Go

I want to thank Lexi, Rob, Victor and Elias from Uncanny in King of Prussia for helping out during the first stop on the Uncanny and More tour.  It was a great time and I meet a ton of awesome people.  There nothing better than talking comics all day long.

Check out this great picture Lexi took of me before the event!

If you missed out, don’t worry there still two more events scheduled on this tour.  The next event is at the Comics and More at Plymouth Meeting mall on Wednesday the 14th.  Just like at Uncanny, I’ll be there all day starting a 1pm. The week after that I'll be at the Uncanny in the Montgomery Mall from 1pm to 9pm.  I hope to see you at one of these great events!

P.S. I’ll be back at Uncanny in King of Prussia on Halloween, only in costume and handing out candy for Malloween.
